Arbitrators taking their skills to the next level
For the eighth time the Swedish Arbitration Association is arranging an Arbitration Training Program in association with the SCC. Twenty-three young arbitrators had their first seminar and a start-up dinner at the SCC.
Dinner and a seminar marked the start of the Arbitrator Training Program 2021/2022, a training program for young arbitrators arranged by the Swedish Arbitration Association in cooperation with the SCC. The training program consists of 13 seminars hosted by arbitration experts and aims to offer young practitioners an opportunity to develop their skills as arbitrators.
The SCC had the privilege of hosting the opening dinner of the program and SCC Legal Counsel Christoffer Coello Hedberg together with ICC Legal Counsel Hjordis Hjartardottir held the first seminar of the program. The seminar examined the role of arbitral institutions and the interaction between the arbitral tribunal and the arbitral institution in cases under the SCC and ICC Rules.
– It was a pleasure to engage in interesting discussions with this year’s brilliant participants and we wish them the best of luck for the rest of this very exciting program, says Christoffer Coello Hedberg.
